Teaching UK

There are many similarities and differences among teachers around the world. In almost all countries teachers are educated in a university or college. Governments may require certification by a recognized body before they can teach in a school. In many countries, elementary school education certificate is earned after completion of high school.

Art Teacher with strong classroom management skills

A large secondary school based in Bristol is looking for an Art Teacher with strong classroom management skills to start as soon as possible on a long term supply basis. The school is looking for the right candidate to cover a maternity leave and ideally would like a handover as this is a challenging role. The successful candidate must be able to teach up to GCSE level and the role will also include covering some A Level classes so it is essential to be comfortable to teach at this level.

The successful candidate will be supported by a specialist teaching assistant and there are a number of children with special needs in the school. Experience of teaching children with special needs within a mainstream environment would be beneficial.

If you are a QTS Teacher (NQT's cannot be considered for this role) and you are looking for a new challenge then please apply today.
